Birth

Birth

We propose different birthing-packages, as we find it important that a couple feels comfortable with the place of birth and the birthing partners/health professionals attending the birth. It is only when a labouring women feels safe and comfortable, that there is the best chance of having a normal labour and birth.

HOMEBIRTH WITH ZWANGER IN BRUSSEL

You call us when labour has started properly, and one of us will come to your home. When the birth of your baby is near, we call a second midwife. Both midwives will be there at the moment of delivery and will support you throughout. We stay with you for another two hours (or longer if you feel the need), and leave your new family to enjoy and get to know each other with a peaceful mind.

We also rent a birth pool.
